Description	knee fibro-osseous lesion

Notes	This the knee joint from a 586 day old female KK/H1J mouse. Note the blue cells (bone marrow) withn what is left of the bone marrow. This is the so-called fibroosseous lesion of bone and is severe in this strain.

General Note: Inbred strain. This strain is homozygous for Cdh23ahl, the age related hearing loss 1 mutation, which on this background results in progressive hearing loss with onset after 10 months of age.
