Notes

These are a series of photomicrographs of bones from various locations in a series of old mice to show relatively normal, mildly affected, to diffusely affected bones in which the marrow cavity is effaced by thick boney trabeculae. Between the trabeculae is a matrix of fibrovascular tissue sometimes containing variouis amounts of bone marrow. When present, the bone marrow is dominated by granulocytes.
