Notes	This is a set of slides from a 586 day old female KK/HlJ mouse with fibro-osseous lesions of the long bones of the rear leg. The special stain exasserbates the bone and early areas of mineralization (blue).

General Note: Inbred strain. This strain is homozygous for Cdh23ahl, the age related hearing loss 1 mutation, which on this background results in progressive hearing loss with onset after 10 months of age.
