Mammary gland: the mammary gland is entirely effaced by a nodular, multilobular, densely cellular neoplasm with large areas of cavitation (C) filled with a proteinaceous fluid and numerous areas of squamous differentiation (*). Neoplastic cells, in this portion of the neoplasm, predominantly form glands lined by a one cell-thick epithelium supported by a small amount of fibrovascular stroma. Neoplastic cells also form a few papillae. |

Notes |
This mouse had multiple mammary tumors. Each of these tumors is presented in a different pathology record. These tumors were all secretory adenocarcinomas with prominent squamous differentiation, although the relative ratio of glandular areas and areas with squamous differentiation differed among these tumors. This mouse had undergone 4 cycles of gestation and lactation. |
