Secretory mammary adenocarcinoma with squamous differentiation: neoplastic cells, in this portion of the neoplasm, form trabeculae, nests and solid areas with central cornification. Neoplastic cells are polygonal, with ill-defined cell borders, occasionally intercellular bridges, and a moderate amount of amphophilic to acidophilic cytoplasm. The nucleus is central, round to oval, slightly hyperchromatic, with a clumped chromatin and 1-3 medium-sized to large basophilic nucleoli. Anisocytosis and anisokaryosis are moderate. Mitotic figures are numerous. There is a mild to moderate interstitial lymphocytic and plasmacytic inflammation and a mild granulomatous inflammation centered on cornified debris. |
