Lung: the lung is effaced and expanded by a nodular, encapsulated, expensile metatastatic neoplasm that bulges over the pleural surface. More than 90% of this neoplasm is composed of a central core of non-viable cornified debris. A thin rim of viable neoplastic epithelium is present at the periphery of the metastasis. |

The mouse had several tumors in its mammary glands and one macroscopic lung metastasis when it was sacrificed. The mouse had undergone four cycles of gestation/lactation. |
