Caption

The tubules and trabeculae are lined by 1-3 layers of viable neoplastic cells. Neoplastic cells are cuboidal to polygonal, with indistinct cell borders and a moderate amount of strongly amphophilic cytoplasm. Trichohyaline granules (strongly acidophilic droplets) are present in the cytoplasm of a moderate number of neoplastic cells surrounding the areas of cornification.
