This is a nodular, unencapsulated, well-delineated, expensile, densely cellular neoplastic mammary mass. This neoplasm is composed of glands and acini grouped in cords and supported by a scant amount of loose fibrovascular stroma. There is mild multifocal cystic degeneration of some neoplastic glands. This type of tumor is common in C3H/HeJ mice infected by the Mouse Mammary Tumor Virus (MMTV). |
