The mammary gland is replaced by a nodular, encapsulated, well-delineated, densely cellular neoplasm. This neoplasm is composed of glandular (predominantly) and papillary structures supported by a scant amount of fibrovascular stroma. These structures are lined by a 1-2 cell-thick cuboidal to low columnar epithelium.
