Pathology Image Detail

Liver: a small, densely cellular, unencapsulated, nodular, expensile mass causes minimal compression to the adjacent hepatic parenchyma. This mass is smaller than an hepatic lobule. This mass is composed of two cells-thick hepatic trabeculae. Hepatocytes in this nodule have a more abundant and a more acidophilic cytoplasm than nearby hepatocytes. The nucleus of cells located in the focus is larger and shows more pleomorphism than the nucleus of nearby hepatocytes. |
