Pathology Image Detail

Vertebra: the vertebral body is replaced by a nodular, expansile, moderately (at the periphery of the neoplasm) to poorly (at the center of the neoplasm) cellular neoplastic mass. This neoplasm is predominantly composed of a pale acidophilic chondromatous matrix in which a small to moderate number of oval to stellate-shaped neoplastic cells are embedded. Within this matrix and at it's periphery, neoplastic cells are clustered around trabeculae of mineralized osteoid. |
