Panniculus: the panniculus is expanded by a nodular, partly encapsulated, moderately cellular neoplastic mass composed of blood-filled vascular spaces of various size supported by a moderate amount of loose fibrovascular stroma. The largest neoplastic vascular spaces are thrombosed. All vascular spaces are lined by a prominent endothelium. The largest vascular spaces have a thick wall which comprises spindloid cells interpreted as smooth muscle fibers, while the smallest vascular spaces have a thin wall. |
