Esophagus - Normal tissue. There is mild to moderate labeling of the suprabasal layers of the epithelium of the esophagus for beta catenin (tissues fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin, 1:300 dilution). Fixation with 10% neutral buffered formalin, as illustrated in this case, generally provides less adequate antigen preservation for immunohistochemistry than Fekete's solution and Bouin's fixative. |
