Cornea - Normal tissue. There is moderate intercellular labeling of the corneal epithelium for beta-catenin (tissues fixed in 4% paraformaldehyde, 1:300 dilution). As exemplified in this case, antigen preservation for immunohistochemical detection is lower for tissues fixed in paraformaldehyde than in tissues fixed in Bouin's solution or in Fekete's fixative. |
