Pathology Image Detail

Caption

Type A spindle cell adrenocortical carcinoma. The details of the cell type can be seen here. Some cells are spindle shaped with elongated oval nuclei. Cytoplasmic boundries are difficult to identify. Mitotic figures (circles) are frequent. Some pink cortical cells remain but most are lost due to expansion and compression of the primary neoplasm.
