Notes

This is a tumor from a 751 day old female A/J mouse. The neoplasm was located in the genital track from the vaginal mucosa at the level of the cervix. This is a well differentiated squamous cell carcinoma. Note the numerous "keratin pearls", foci of cornification. In the more cellular regions, as illustrated in the higher magnifications, there are numerous mitotic figures.
