Thyroid gland: there is mild focal papillary hyperplasia of the follicular epithelium of the thyroid gland (arrowhead). The remaining portions of the thyroid gland is composed of large follicles filled with a strongly acidophilic colloid and lined by an attenuated epithelium (colloid goiter).
