Pathology Image Detail
Caption |
Blood vessel - normal tissue. Aorta: there is strong cytoplasmic immunolabeling of endothelial cells of the aorta for platelet-derived growth factor alpha (antibody diluted at 1:25, tissue fixed in IHC Zinc fixative, heat-mediated antigen retrieval in citrate buffer at pH=6.0). There is also mild multifocal staining of the connective tissue in the wall of the aorta. This pattern of immunolabeling was consistently detected with this antibody but it may represent an artifact. |
