Colon - normal tissue. There is moderate labeling of the colonic epithelium with an antibody which recognizes a wide spectrum of keratins (tissue fixed in Fekete's solution, trypsin digestion, 1:50 dilution). Labeling is stronger in colonic glands than in the surface epithelium. This antibody did not label all the structures it was supposed to label based on published information concerning keratin expression in mouse tissues. |
