Oral mucosa - normal tissue. There is strong labeling for trichohyalin of the small specific areas located cranially to filliform papillae of the tongue (tissue fixed in Fekete's solution, heat-mediated antigen retrieval in citrate buffer at pH=6.0, 1:20 dilution). The tissues labeled with this antibody included the outer root sheath, the oral epithelium, the allantois, C cells of the thyroid, and the adrenal medulla. |
