Fig. 1C. Liver: the architecture of the liver is focally effaced by a multilobular, unenecapsulated, expensile, non-compressive, densely cellular mass. This mass is composed of 2-3 cells thick interconnected trabeculae separated by sinusoids. Cells are large, polygonal, with distinct cell borders and with a large amount of strongly acidophilic cytoplasm. |
