This is a section of the skin of the ventral abdomen and of the underlying mammary gland. There is strong labeling of the subcutaneous skeletal muscle, moderate labeling of hair follicles, and mild labeling of the mammary epithelium.
The tissue was fixed in Zinc IHC fixative (TM) and the antibody was tested at a dilution of 1:15,000. Background and non-specific labeling was least with Zinc IHC fixative (TM), and was stronger with Felete's solution, Bouin's solution, 10% neutral buffered formalin, and 4% paraformaldehyde.
