 The Collaborative Cross lines were derived via a multiparental recombinant inbred breeding scheme using A/J, C57BL/6J, 129Sv/ImJ, NOD/ShiLtJ, NZO/HlLtJ, CAST/EiJ, PWK/PhJ, and WSB/EiJ founder mice. This line has genetic contribution from 6 founders. CAST and PWK DNA was lost during the breeding process.
